Hello and welcome to the home of Aromaprose

I’m Sue, the owner and founder of Aromaprose. A Beauty Therapist and Aromatherapist by trade, I hung up my spatula several years ago to concentrate on creating and making beautiful products and gifts with essential oils and natural materials. My interest in essential oils began many years ago when my daughter was tiny and couldn’t sleep (she’s a mum herself now so that shows how long ago it was!) She was struggling to sleep and I’d read about how effective lavender could be so I sprinkled a few drops on her pillow and guess what… within a few nights she was sleeping through! That started my lifelong interest in the power of essential oils and they are something that I use on a daily basis. The name Aromaprose was also thought up about 20 years ago when, as a newly divorced mum of 2, I was invited on a skiing holiday with friends for Christmas. We were only taking token gifts for each other so I gave each person an individually blended bottle of oil along with a tiny personalised poem. Poetry came very easily to me so I thought up the name Aromaprose. Fast forward to lockdown in 2020 and I decided the time was right to launch a business combining the two elements. As you will see many of my gift hampers can be personalised with a little poem which makes someone feel really special. A lot of my inspiration for my makes comes from my love of angels and I believe every one of us has a guardian angel looking over and protecting us. My products are all made personally by me utilising essential oils and natural products wherever possible. I’m also a great respecter of our beautiful planet so packaging is important to me. I always try to use glass bottles and jars and you will find my orders packed in reused wrappings wherever possible.
